My name is Ed Pulliam, I am the
president of OUISoft. I live in Janesville, Wisconsin,
USA. My partners and I started OuiSoft to continue the
distribution and further development of OUI after the
former owners had determined that they lacked the
resources and time to continue the development and
support of the program. We also wanted to offer other
hardware, software, and computer related products to our
web visitors.
In early
2001, we began a plan to split off our shopping venue to
a seperate web site. In April, 2001, OUISoft launched a
new service, ComputerStuffCheap.com as a shopping site
for computer "Stuff - Cheap".
In mid 2001 we began offering Web
Hosting and Web Design services. We offer
various Hosting options, depending on our client's needs,
and our design services range from the simple web site for
a few hundred dollars, to the most complex web-commerce
or database driven web sites.
Late in 2001, we attempted to purchase
the rights to a supurb email client program called Calypso
email. Unfortunately for us, the deal didn't go forward.
Fortunately, for our OUI users, the owners of the
program did sell the rights to it to a fine shareware company,
and we entered into an agreement with them to
distribute the (now renamed) COURIER
email client. Courier became our second
software product, and launched the further expansion
of OUISoft.
In October, 2002, OUISoft entered a distribution
agreement to offer additional high quality
shareware programs. We currently offer over two dozen
software products, all for home or small office/home
office (SOHO) use.
